We pride ourselves on a personal service to all our customers, once your order is received we carefully pick out the best plants and place them into our pre packing area to drain before we pack. We endeavour to select your order and despatch all plants within 7 -10 WORKING DAYS (Thats Monday to Friday- not including Weekends & Bank Holidays) Sometimes longer due to adverse weather conditions
Please note: We are an independent family nursery doing everything we can to provide quality plants to our customers, that also includes our packing, we are not Amazon however, and cannot provide a next day service.
We pack all orders in date order received, the Summer is obviously an extremely busy time for us and as such your order may take a little longer. If you want to enquire about your order please could you email rather than ring as this saves us time for more packing ! (We are polite and courteous in all our customer communication, and we expect the same in return, we will not accept anything less for our employees)
You will receive a processing email when we receive your order, then another to let you know that your plants are being despatched. If there are any problems we will contact you via email to let you know. If you wish to check on an order please email us on plantadvice@perfectplantings.co.uk
Our Refund and Replacement Policy
Of course we hope that you are delighted with your plant order from Perfect plantings, However we understand that you may occasionally wish to return an order if you change your mind, if you find a plant is not as you expect, or if an order is faulty or has been damaged whilst in the hands of couriers.
If your plants are faulty, or damaged, or if you have been sent an incorrect variety or quantity please contact within 14 days on plantadvice@perfectplantings.co.uk
The Statutory right of withdrawal
You are entitled to withdraw from the contract within the statutory cooling off period of 14 days. The withdrawal deadline shall be deemed to be met if you have emailed us concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the deadline. For any undamaged plants, we ask that you communicate your intentions asap and return the plants within 14 days of the date you receive them. You are responsible for postage costs. We will refund you based upon the original payment method immediately upon receipt of the returned plants.
Damaged delivery
We use APC couriers along with Royal Mail, and they are normally very, very good, however occasionally problems can occur due to rough handling or being held up in a delivery Hub too long.. (We reserve the right to use the best delivery service for your particular order- plant type - quantity)
For any plants which are either damaged in transit or if any other problems arise, please email us within 3 days of receipt of your plants, along with photos of the damaged packaging if possible and we will either send replacement plants, or refund you in full if you would prefer.
Failed plants
We grow our plants with the upmost quality in mind, with professional nursery irrigation and feed application at the correct intervals, and dedicated areas for the differing plant types, most of our stock is grown 'Hard' outside with no protection so that they are fully hardy in the UK. You will receive your plants in good health ready to enhance your garden. Once they are in your care, since we have no control over the vagaries of the UK climate, pests and diseases, correct placement of the plants for their sunlight requirements, correct soil types & watering, frost, severe winter or summer weather, water logging, and other similar regional factors, we cannot be held responsible for any plant losses due to these reasons, we do however offer a 28 day replacement guarantee on all plants as long as they have been cared for and watered. please contact us at plantadvice@perfectplantings.co.uk for any plant issues you may have.
Held & Over Wintered stock
We are happy to hold stock you have ordered & paid for, to overwinter, or if you are awaiting a planting opportunity due to weather conditions or site access or requirements. We can keep your plants in our polytunnels seperated from other customer orders etc. However, we cannot be held responsible for any lost/failed plants after a period of three months, this is because plants grouped together may not have the same requirements, plus there is also a labour cost created by our staff caring for your plants. We will inform you at the time of arranging this service.
