Matteuccia struthiopteris

Known as the shuttlecock fern, a very striking variety, bearing large, pale green, lacy fronds in an erect shuttlecock arrangement. An excellent foliage plant for moist dappled shade & works well when planted in groups. Attractive among other moisture & shade loving plants on the edge of a pond, in woodland situations or in a large container on a shady patio.
