Allium 'Sphaerocephalon'

A gorgeous diminutive Allium with small egg shaped, claret coloured flowers mid to late summer. Superb planted en masse in a border especially when emerging through a veil of ornamental grasses. particularly Stipa tenuissima & other 'frothy type grasses', good emerging under perennials too. Great in a prairie type planting style.

Ht 50cm then naturalising slowly. this bulb prefers full sun and a well drained soil
