Angelica sylvestris 'Vicars Mead'

Angelica 'Vicars Mead' is an elegant biennial, umbellifer type plant thats is attractive to pollinating insects of all kinds, a robust plant tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions including heavy clay soils.

'Vicars Mead' has nice red-purple stems & foliage, with broad purple flower heads that lighten as they mature. Ideal in a wildlife garden or amongst grasses & perennials where its colours break up the greenery, requires full sun and a moist but well drained soil.
