Known as the 'Harts Tongue Fern' this variety has solid looking evergreen foliage of lustrous wavy edged fronds with new ones unfurling in early spring. Lovely planted amongst other ferns for contrast or in a woodland setting as this deciduous plant must have full to part shade in a moist soil to do well, although this one can also tolerate a dry soil under trees.
