Astelia grasses are a native perennial from the forests of New Zealand, this cultivar is one of the hardiest best suited for our UK climate. It has stunning sword like, metallic green & Silver foliage forming into tight clumps. one of the few silver leaf shade loving plants it looks great mixed with low growing grasses & other cool coloured perennials & ferns in a shady border.

must be grown in partial to full shade in moist but well drained soil and it will increase slowly.
