Known as the 'Butterfly bush' these traditional cottage garden shrubs bear attractive, conical, arching flowers on an arching bush in mid through to late summer. extremely attractive to butterflies & other pollinating insects, often smothered in flowers they provide a real feast. Preferring full sun in most soils they grow rapidly in height each season, requiring a heavy prune back by 3/4 in march to keep them fresh and full of flower
