Carex comosa

Carex Comosa also known as the bottlebrush sedge due to its large, lime-green bottlebrush shaped spikes which turn golden brown when ripe carried aloft arching lustrous lime green leaves. Its a slow growing clump-forming sedge with a fibrous root system that prefers a moist and even wet or boggy site, in full sun to part shade. Great in boggy areas, or near ponds and streams.
