Clerodendrum trichotonum 'fargesii'

known as the Harlequin glorybower, a deciduous Chinese shrub that eventually forms a small tree, a very vigorous bushy shrub, looking spectacular from late summer onwards as its heads of pink buds open into balls of small white star shaped flowers with a very rich fragrance. These later develop into bright blue/grey berries surrounded by maroon star shaped cases.
