Cornus (Dogwoods)

Known as the ' Dogwoods' stunning deciduous shrubs best known for their winter effect once all leaves have dropped! Have them planted alongside other yellow, purple, or orange stemmed dogwoods and other winter interest plants & you can have colour even in the darkest months. They prefer full sun in any soil even waterlogged. For the best stem colours you will need to cut the plant back hard to around 10cm from the ground in March every other year & the new growth will then attain a lovely colour for the next season.
