Known as 'Monbretia' this corm forming perennial with its narrow upright sword like leaves, is topped by arching sprays of bright tiny trumpets of yellow flowers that last well, to spice up your borders! plant amongst medium to low growing perennials and grasses for best effect, also very good in a gravel garden.
Grow in full sun in rich moist but drained soil and they will increase steadily. An excellent cut flower.
This hybrid variety has attractive, medium sized, yellow- orange flowers from July onwards.
