Known as the scaly male fern 'Dryopteris Cristata' is a robust semi evergreen fern with rosettes of erect & arching fronds delicately cresting at the tips of the leaves, Ideal for underplanting shrubs, used in a woodland setting with other ferns and suitable grasses. must have part to full shade & a moist soil, but will tolerate dry soil to a certain extent once established.
