Hakonechloa macra 'All Gold'

Hakonechloa macra 'All Gold' is another choice, golden Hakone grass which emerges each spring a clear bright yellow, attaining a golden yellow as the season progresses, or a more limy yellow if in deeper shade. an excellent grass in a tall pot for effect. Prefers full sun to part shade and a well drained but moist humus rich soil to be at their very best in a cool spot if possible but will also grow well at a woodland edge in part shade. Mulch well in spring after cutting back old growth to encourage new season growth.
