Knautia macedonica 'Melton Pastels'

Known as the Macedonian Scabious this delicate looking perennial grows from a low foliage base with thin, wiry stems carrying pin cushion flower heads in shades of pink to violet from Midsummer into the Autumn, perfect in a prairie or cottage garden border.

prefers full sun and a well drained soil to prosper.
