Commonly called the 'Leopard plant' This Ligularia is a robust hardy perennial, much prized for its large rounded dark green leaves, complete with upright taller spikes of erect purple-black stems bearing spikes of yellow-orange flowers from June onwards. Adds real drama to any planting and looks great in a bog garden.
Prefers a moist to wet soil in full sun to part shade.
