Loropetalum chinensis 'Fire Dance'

Known as the 'Chinese evergreen' witch hazel' this lovely shrub variety has deep plum/purple leaves, with the new foliage tips emerging pink then darkening to deep purple. Stunning Flowers of dark pink in profusion covering the whole plant in late winter/ early spring, contrasting very dramatically with the darker foliage. One of the first plants to flower in the year aiding early pollinating insects.

Ht 2m x Sp 3m Prefers full sun to part shade in a moist but well drained soil.
