One of the earliest grasses from the Springtime. A really lovely plant which is soft golden yellow both on the leaves & on the the stems & flower heads. It will certainly brighten up a partly shaded spot which it is most suited to in a good, moist but not wet soil. A really stunning woodland plant mixed with foxgloves and other shade loving plants.
