Miscanthus sinensis 'Navajo'

The Miscanthus group of grasses should, in our opinion be known as the King of grasses. A very adaptable & diverse range of cultivars, all of which are reliable. Having a wide range of heights & structure plus finger like flower heads with a subtle range of colours which are produced very late in the autumn, and last well into the winter. They all require full sun in any soil and will grow in the same spot for many years quietly increasing from a central clump, but not running or becoming invasive. Suitable for mass plantings, use as a single specimen, or even in large containers

Miscanthus 'Navajo' a new addition to our late season grasses range is grown for its foliage colour which becomes a mahogany red as soon as the buds form in the spring, turning olive green then intensifying into the autumn as a fiery red! stunning. small silver flowers in the warmer autumn months.
