Ornamental Grasses

Grasses have become one of our most favourite plants at the nursery over the years, we certainly find using them in many clients schemes provide the long seasonal interest & ease of maintance that many request. So despite claims they are in or out of fashion, their tactile nature, harmonious associations with many hardy perennial plants, and being trouble free- easy to grow plants lend to them becoming rather addictive to many!

Ranging from the smaller evergreen varieties, the taller upright varieties with shimmering , dancing flower heads of early summer then provide a link to the later flowering grasses of late summer to early autumn. All can be very adaptive planted as infill to borders, or as specimen plants especially at strategic points in the mixed border or in containers.
