Phlomis tuberosa 'Bronze Flamingo'

An unusual form with whorls of mauve-pink to soft lilac flowers staggered at intervals along stout upright reddish- purple stems, over downy semi - evergreen basal leaves. The stunning flowers open in sequence giving a long flowering season. During the Autumn & Winter these architectural stems hold well, giving interest with its dried seed heads. Very drought resistant preferring a sunny spot in well drained soil., Great mixed in with grasses for a true prairie style.
