Pleioblastus variegatus 'Tsuboi'

A Stunning, spreading dwarf bamboo with long, dark green leaves with a bold stripe of creamy yellow down the centre. Great as a groundcover under trees or shrubs, & really nice in a container. Fully hardy & best when hard pruned down to ground level every spring to keep compact & to promote the best foliage colours, this will also remove the cold damaged leaves from the winter months. Keep contained to stop spreading out of its area.

Prefers full sun to light shade and a moist soil.
