Polystichum polyblepharum

Known as the 'Japanese Tassle Fern' with broadly arching lance shaped fronds, light green & glossy darkening with age, tips of unfurling fronds are covered in masses of light sandy brown-gold hairs giving the fern its common name. Lovely planted amongst other ferns for contrast or in a woodland setting as this deciduous plant must have full to part shade in a moist soil to do well.
