Potentilla recta

Known as 'Cinquefoil these Potentillas are much prized plants with pretty strawberry like flowers and palmate divided foliage from spring to late summer. A great plant at the front of a border, & as groundcover. They prefer full sun to partial shade in a moist but well drained soil.

This variety, Potentilla recta, also known as the sulphur cinquefoil, is a vigorous perennial with bright yellow flowers on upright stems during the summer months. Great at the front of sunny borders, cut back spent flowers & foliage for a second flush into the Autumn.
