Salvia Turkistanica 'Vatican Pink'
'The Clary or Turkestan Sage' A group of plants that are currently enjoying much popularity, mainly due to their drought tolerance & long flowering season. Perfect in a mixed border, containers & of particular use in seaside gardens. They have a wide variety of tubular flowers on upright stems of ovate aromatic foliage
They all prefer full sun to partial shade in a moist but well drained soil. grow these plants in a gravel garden, however much richer fertile oils will produce a bushier, lusher plant, so it covers a wide range of sites.
This particular variety has tubular flowers white with a pink tint, on tall dark stems from June onwards into the autumn.
