Salvia
'The Ornamental or Border Sage' A group of plants that are currently enjoying much popularity, mainly due to their drought tolerance & long flowering season. Perfect in a mixed border, containers & of particular use in seaside gardens. They have a wide variety of small tubular flowers on upright stems of ovate aromatic foliage, trimming back lightly after initial flowering often promotes a second flush of flowers!
They prefer full sun to partial shade in a moist but well drained soil.
