Salvia guaranitica 'Black and Blue'

'The Ornamental or Border Sage' A group of plants that are currently enjoying much popularity, mainly due to their drought tolerance & long flowering season. Perfect in a mixed border, containers & of particular use in seaside gardens. They have a wide variety of small tubular flowers on upright stems of ovate aromatic foliage

They all prefer full sun to partial shade in a moist but well drained soil.

Salvia 'Black & Blue" the anise scented sage, has large dark blue tubular flowers with a jet black calyx on contrasting tall dark stems from Late summer and onwards into the autumn. A very tall upright variety best towards the back of a border.
