Verbascum bombyciferum 'Polarsommer'

The giant mullein, also known as Verbascum 'Arctic Summer' is a statuesque biennial with silvery, hairy foliage, resembling a frosted appearance. In its first year produces a rosette of silvery broad leaves, then in its second year its graced with tall, sometimes branched flower spikes bearing bright yellow flowers.

Attractive to pollinators it provides an impressive accent point in borders & gravel gardens.

Prefers full sun in a well drained soil.
