We are open to Browse & Purchase  Wednesday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm, with

Online Mail orders continuing through the Winter.


Please Note : We Close to Nursery visits for The Christmas & New Year's Holiday

from Friday 20th December &  re - open on Monday 6th January 2025.

    The Miscanthus group of grasses should, in our opinion be known as the King of grasses. A very adaptable & diverse range of cultivars, all of which are reliable. Having a wide range of heights & structure plus finger like flower heads with a subtle range of colours which are produced very late in the autumn, and last well into the winter. They all require full sun to part shade in any soil and will grow in the same spot for many years quietly increasing from a central clump, Suitable for mass plantings, use as a single specimen, or even in large containers.

    Attractive variegated foliage starts in Spring green with a cream margin, but then as the first pairs of leaves open in spring each leaf becomes brightly suffused pink with an irregular bronzed central zone, striped with red veins.

    In high summer, the pink tends to fade, but then returns into the autumn with increasingly deeper reddish tones until the foliage falls revealing the deep red stems bringing new long lasting colour to the winter garden.

    A traditional family run nursery, growing a range of over 100 varieties of  Ornamental Grasses, plus stunning Hardy Perennials, Ferns & Shade lovers, Shrubs, & Climbers. all of which we propagate from seed, cuttings, or division.


    Our Mail order service provides quality plants carefully packaged, using as many recycled materials as we can with the minimal amount of plastics.


    We accept all major cards plus Paypal, Apple pay etc, Standard P&P is £7.95 for any size order up to £75 then it’s free. - Extra charges may still apply to some remote areas - we are unable to dispatch to Ireland

    Perfect Plantings Nursery can be found in the grounds of 

    Woodforde Farm, Weston Green Rd, Weston Longville, Norfolk , NR9 5LG, 

    Please note; we are NOT in the village of Weston Longville, we are situated in the middle of nowhere 

    (or in the sticks if you are Norfolk born) between Hockering on the A47 and Lenwade on the A1067,

    Tucked away in a quiet corner of a farm on the remnants of a WW2 American Airbase, lots of hidden history 

    if you are interested.       The ///what3words location is cashiers.shocking.haystack 


    Directions

    From the village of Hockering on the A47 continue out of the village towards Lenwade, and you will come across our grey & white signs at the T junction end of Heath rd.


    From Lenwade on the A1067 turn onto Weston Hall rd towards the Roaarr (Dinosaur park) or Royal Norfolk Golf Club, and continue without turning off for 2 & 1/2 miles & you will find our grey & white signs to direct you in. There are also bright orange signs for the Wat arun buddhist centre at the main entrance and we are very close to TMA bark supplies. Good luck.
